Our Accommodation

Nexus Place is home to 38 units with 3 bedrooms in each. Each apartment has common kitchen, lounge and dining areas with full appliances and furniture. Each bedroom includes an ensuite with shower, toilet and basin, desk and shelves, kind sized single bed and wardrobe. 

We are experienced on-site managers and we are available to assist the transition for students moving away from home for the first time. We are reachable even after hours. 

Tariffs & Rental Price

Weekly Rent at Nexus Place:

• Full year (52 weeks) @ $185 per week including services
• Academic year (49 weeks) January 24 to Dec 31 @ $195 per week including services
  

Please note: On or before arrival we require a bond payment equivalent to 4 weeks rent, plus 2 weeks rent in advance and a student pack to the value of $20 (includes pillow and pillow cover ).

All payments should be paid via direct debit, unless otherwise arranged with management. Credit card facilities are NOW available. Nexus Place is a cashless office.

Accommodation Features

• ADSL internet (10GB/month)
• Gas Hot Water
• Electricity
• AUSTAR (FOXSports, Max, VChannel ,News & Movie Extra)
• Individual telephone accounts (the tenants’ responsibility).
• Connection to the Nexus ADSL network is free and usage (10GB/month), is included in the weekly rent.
• Undercover, off-street car parking is available and charged weekly at $10 per week.
• Washing machines are free to use; dryers are coin operated - $3.00 per load.
• An exit cleaning fee of $165 including GST applies to all leases. Departing tenants taking advantage of this service are expected to remove all personal belongings and all rubbish from the unit, and to clean and stow all kitchen items in the appropriate cupboards before an exit inspection is conducted. All other cleaning including carpet cleaning is covered by this fee.
• All other facilities are provided FREE of charge.
